Here is a quick recap of the All Star Weekend

• Sophomores destroy the Rookies. David Lee, CP3 & Luther Head just tear it up.

• Classic "in the face" dunks.
• Bavetta Barkley race. I have to give props to Barkley. I didn't think he was going to win. In fact, I actually thought he was going to die.
• Pippen shows the Bulls, Heat, Lakers, & Cavs that he is ready to come back to the NBA. He shot 3 three pointers and 2 half court shots. (He made 1 three pointer.) If that doesn't say NBA ready…
• Smush gets to be part of All Star weekend. I wonder if he drove the Smushcalade to Vegas?
• Kobe tears up the skillz challenge (first round). He has the lowest time but winds up losing to Wade in the final round. Damn, chest pass. Izzo, come on!
• Kapono wins the 3 point shoutout with ease. He kills the final round by tying the record with 24. That UCLA kid can shoot. Arenas almost had it. Dirk and JT, way to hold it down for Dallas. I am sure Cuban is very proud.
• Kobe, Carter, Jordan, Dominique and Dr J judge the dunk contest. Reggie Miller repeatedly suggests Kobe and Carter shouldn't be judges. Jordan stands alone as the un-fun judge. Dwight Howard's sticker dunk was original and damn!!! He jumped mad high. Nate, can throw it down for a guy 5'7" but come on. You got to slam it in the first 2 tries. Gerald Green, he threw it down.
• Wayne Newton looked terrible. He air guitared and air violined. He lip-synced his songs and they still sounded awful. Does David Stern still think this is what Vegas is about?
• Kobe leads the West in scoring in the first half. When Tony Parker didn't play, Kobe assumed the role as the point guard and facilitator. 6 assists and 6 steals. He was on mission.
• Christina Aguilera rocked the halftime show. I guess the debate is truly over. Xtina is a real superstar and Britney, well…
• Kobe keeps it going in the second half. I have always said Kobe would love playing with Marion. That guy is a walking stat sheet.
• Izzo gets the MVP. This time there are no boos.
• Charley Rosen writes an article trashing the entire weekend. Come on Charley, it's fun. Yes, Don Nelson in bikini would be hilarious. Gross, but hilarious.

Overall I thought this was a great All Star weekend. The West dominated and all of the events were fun. The race was an added bonus and showed us a league that is caught up in "image" and technical fouls, still has a sense of humor. I still can't believe Barkley won. He even back peddled the last half. I love All Star weekend.

• Britney Shaves Her Head. It's more sad than funny. Seriously, stop laughing.

• Kobe wins MVP. Now it's time to win some regular season games.
• Still haven't gone to Magic Mountain
• What an exhausting weekend. Wow, that was rough.

• Going to the second match-up of the future meets the present. Kobe vs LeBron. Yeah, it's nice to be back in LA.
• Magic Mountain on Friday. It really looks like it is going to happen.
• Matisyahu is a phuking asshole. More on this later.
• NBA All-Star Weekend. w00t! Is Izzo going to win the Skillz challenge?

Daylight Savings will move from it's normal first Sunday (2:00 AM) in April to March 11th (2007). I just heard this on the news and I am sorta shocked by it. It's a good thing, just kinda trippy to think Spring/Summer is almost here.

• The Grammys were kinda boring. Besides Timberlake and the Police reunion, it just didn't really feel like the Grammys. It felt more like the Country Music Awards. I do <3 Carrie Underwood through. I guess Nas is right. Props to Luda.
• Magic Mountain…on Friday…they are supposedly open.

Albert Hammond Jr (The Strokes) has released his solo album and is now touring. I will be seeing him in March at the El Rey. Check out this live performance.

Thom Yorke (Radiohead) performs an acoustic version of The Clock. His guitar work is phukin amazing!

According to the past data, February is my least blogging month. I wonder why that is. I don't think it has to do with the weather or this being the shortest month of the year. Is Feb really that uninteresting that I have nothing to write about?

As with any start-up, my work hours are 24/7. Don't get me wrong, I find some time to eat and watch the Lakers lose. I did sneak away for a few minutes and go to the gun range. Forget the Glock 34, it's all about the 35. It's the same gun, except…. .40 caliber. The employees at LAX Range agree it is more accurate due to the extra kick. Too bad they raised their prices, it's an expensive hobby.

I finally got to try Pink Berry. It's worth it. I even wrote a rap while standing in line:

Chillin…at the Berry. Pink not cherry
Almost didn't roll, line looked scary.
Word. Wha What!!!

The line is radonkulous but it moves relatively quick. It's hard to describe what makes it so good. It's Yogurt…with toppings. But if you haven't had it you should definitely give it a chance. And write a rhyme, while waiting in line. It's a great way to kill the time.
