These are just a few things I have observed this past summer.

• Fred Durst can’t get publicity, even by getting arrested. He intentionally drove his car into 2 people. He avoided jail time by pleading no contest. He is officially the Douche of the Year.
• Bill OReilly isn’t really that out-of-touch with society. He made outlandish claims about black people eating cordially in predominately black restaurants for publicity. Ann Coulter just admitted her scam by asking for Fatwa. These people are media whores. They are scam artists. They prey on trusting and simple minded people. They need to be exposed and stopped. I am calling shenanigans. You file the lawsuits.
• The Lakers have no intention on improving the team through big trades. Let’s see what D. Fish, Mihm, Kobe, Lamar, Luke, Farmar, Turiaf and Bynum can do.
• Rap music is dead. I know there are many hip hop fans that disagree. Hip hop is a culture that will never die. Just like punk, grunge and heavy metal, it has become mainstream and ultimately, recycled garbage. There is no one pushing it forward. That is why I am waiting for Dre’s Detox album. But we can’t count on one man and one album. The players in the industry need to wake up. It’s not about the money, jewelery, pimpy and hoes anymore. That has been said so much it’s beyond played out. I don’t care about it and neither does anyone else. Stop blaming the piracy and the internet. Kanye managed to sell a million records his first week. No one is buying rap albums cause they suck.
• Movies, I feel the same way. Every time studio executives bitch about no one seeing movies in the theaters, they break their previous record. People saw Transformers this summer. But that cost half a billion dollars to make. Evan Almighty, what were you thinking? Just cause you have 300 million to spend, doesn’t mean you should. Knocked Up and Superbad proved you don’t have to have billions in special effects or even Hollywood’s top action stars. Your movie only needs 1 thing…to be good.
• The only political party I hate more than Republicans is the Democrats. Hopefully the Evangelicals are starting to see that combating climate change, helping the poor and giving the gays equality are Christian values. The Democrats are ineffectual liars who say they will do whatever takes to get elected but don’t actually do anything when placed in power. We need to abolish the two party system. It’s not democratic and doesn’t work anymore. But there is a problem with actually letting people vote…the people. Spend 3 minutes with the average voter and you’ll want a monarchy. Where are the good guys? When is the good king going to save us from Sodomistic ways?
• The DEA raids on Medical Marijuana have to stop. It’s immoral, unconstitutional and illegal. It is a medicine and thousands of tests have proven it. If I can legally take Adderall (Speed), Paxil (Ecstasy), Valium (Quaalude), Oxycontin (Heroin), Ativan (more ludes) and Ambien (who knows, they make you sleep), someone going through chemo may smoke pot. That’s it. End of story.

I almost topped my own personal blog record this month. I was on a steady pace of a blog a day. You know what they say…a blog a day…keeps the Senators gay. Or something like that.

• My psychiatrist says no more reading or discussing of politics during the day.
• On Sunday, the LA Times ran an article about Dr. Dre and his long awaited Detox album. It was on the front page of the calendar section. It was literally the article I wrote on here almost 2 weeks before. The only difference…they actually had an interview with Dre. Detox won’t be out until sometime in 08. He is now working on Eminem’s album.

Think about what is happening in this country. No, for once I don’t mean Bush’s evil administration. I mean the NBA. And of course, the Lakers. More and more news is not news but Fark. There was an actual story about Posh Spice dressing like Tom Cruise who was dressing like a Nazi for a movie role. I’m serious, someone penned that — and wasn’t fired for it. I am toying with the idea of creating a What Da Phuk! user generated content section. That’s like WDP 2.5 already.

I know that for years I have branded What Da Phuk! with an explanation mark just like Yahoo! It really should be What Da Phuk?! I am thinking of adding the question mark but I can’t decide if it’s necessary. I know I am really asking some deep, tough questions.

Chris Garver emailed me back. He isn’t available for appointments in LA until 2010. I guess I will be going to Miami within the next few years.

I am trying to download Fedora 7. I want to run it as my Linux OS until the new Ubuntu release. I am trying to download the 837MB torrent but my wireless keeps going out. Is this modem a piece of shit or is Time Warner packet shaping and cutting off my downloads? If they are I am going to get a couple of pipe hitting motherphukers to go medieval on their ass.

• While we focus on the Jena 6, which we should, we must not lose focus on the millions of black children that are currently being written out of the educational system.
• There are way too many new shows on TV this fall. I only watch two from last season. The Networks need to stop spreading themselves so thin and concentrate on creating a few good shows.
• Nielsen TV ratings are no longer acceptable. Have you ever met someone who has a Nielsen box? How can they represent 100,000 people? It’s ridonkulous. No more. I demand they use accurate results to determine the shows that stay on the air.
• Stop giving anyone and everyone a TV Show. The Geico cavemen, Perez Hilton and now the tranny who cries about Britney on Youtube. So what if  a bunch of bored-at-work people click on his stupid videos. He will most definitely fail on television. If you can’t see that, you are failing at your job.
• The Hollywood Bowl has to figure out how to let people out of the bowl without making it seem like herding cattle. I am thinking of ski lifts. Think about it. They could take you right to your car at Hollywood and Highland.
• The NBA must announce a plan to correct the referee problem. Considering Joe Crawford was just reinstated, they are moving in the wrong direction.
• You may not say you support the troops while supporting people who literally voted against supporting the troops. Republicans and Democrats voted against mandatory rests between tours. This rest is crucial in preventing post traumatic stress. So no, you don’t support the troops. Stop saying that you lying douche bag.
• Kirk Cameron is right, everything must have a creator. But he fails to mention that everything in human existence does have a creator, including the Bible and God. But now which came first, the holy book written by man announcing God’s creation; or did man invent God and then write the Bible as the voice of God? Hmm? Either way, man created both. And BTW, Kirk, my mother and father created me. So yes, you are right, everything does have a creator…especially the banana.

1. My friends all loved it. My family loved it. The critics raved about it. I thought 300 sucked. Perhaps I missed out by not seeing it in the theater, but I don’t think it even looked that great. It had some moments, a few decent lines in otherwise mediocre period-dialogue. It really went down hill once the dinosaur showed up. After that it was hard to take the man with crab arms seriously. I know it was it a graphic novel and that’s exactly what it felt like. Just not a very good one.
2. I have one word for Gossip Girl: SUCKED! That shit was terrible. It’s only and I repeat, only saving grace is Leighton Meester. She is one of the main characters and she’s mad hot. Hot enough to make me watch this show? We’ll see. Not if it continues at it’s current pace. I know it’s Upper East-side, rich NY Kids, but what is with those names? It’s like watching a made for cable, Cruel Intentions 4. I know they think referencing a blog on TV is so cool in 2007, but actually, no you’re waaaaaay late. What happened to Josh Schwartz and his soundtrack? He made a name for himself and The OC due to his cutting-edge hipster playlist. Angels and Airwaves and Justin Timberlake are hardly cutting edge indie sounds. For Leighton, I will give it another chance. But damn, did this shit SUCK!

• When Volt Stone does a push up, he doesn’t push himself up. He pushes the world down.

• MoveOn.Org showed us they are the only people not afraid to stand up to this awful, immoral administration. After not passing two resolutions to protect and support our troops, the Senate spent all day on Friday condemning MoveOn. Why is the Senate condemning free speech? That is so anti-American it makes me sick. If we can’t speak out, what in the world can you possibly claim we are fighting for? Freedom? From terrorist? We don’t have freedom to talk! I am far more concerned about that than Al Qaeda. And what the phuk does condemning them even mean? Every time I read that, I picture Senator Larry Craig standing up and saying to Wes Boyd and Eli Pariser, “you naughty boys, you nasty naughty boys.” 

About a month ago, I mentioned that I was going to start blogging through other outlets. While this wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, it seemed like the perfect place to vent my rage. Here is my latest random rant. I am quite surprised by the amount of people who asked “you wrote this?” Just based on my use of ridonkulous, I thought it was blatantly obvious.

While we are talking about the corruption of Congress, I would like to share a site I just came across.

Beyond Delay has put together a clean and concise site focusing on the 22 most corrupt members of congress. If “godless” liberalism has such loose morals, why are 19 of the 22 (not counting the dishonorable Vitter and Craig) Republican?

I really don’t understand non-Congressional Republicans lack of outrage at this administration. They have destroyed your party. They turned the elephant into a gay, war-mongering, soldier hating, science bashing, anti-American, hypocritical thief. What a bunch of “naughty boys, nasty naughty boys.”
