I knew my crack team of coders weren’t just a team of crackheads. Although it is 3am my “team” (me, myself, and I) just figured out how to make wp-simplegallery (the flash image gallery) compatible with the infinite scroll.

On line 242 of wp-simplegallery.php, remove the text message and replace it with this non-JS embed code:

  1. TMobile sent me a new BlackBerry Curve. I said Bold! But I guess a new curve, for free, is pretty cool. This should hold me over until the Bold comes out later this month.

  3. From this angle, Ashley Tisdale looks pretty good.
  4. 90210 was pretty bad this week. I don’t expect it to last the whole season.
  5. Entourage is back! This makes Sunday night so perfect. Right after Sunday Night Football, the best scripted show on television is on. I do say scripted because these days, Around the Horn and Real Time are my 2 can’t miss shows.

Besides fixing the tag cloud which has been broken for several months, I added a graffiti wall. Drop your name and a comment to leave your mark on the WDP Wall.

Making the user experience better is one of the most important things at WDP. That and the fact that you all agree with 100% of what I say. If you scroll to the bottom of the blog you will notice that after the 12th post, the blog automatically, through the magic of AJAX (JSON and JQuery to be exact), loads the next set of posts. This is known as the infinite blog scroll or “the blog that never ends.” There is one known bug that I am hoping my crack team of coders will solve asafp.

When TMobile? When? Since back in March you have been claiming this phone will drop this summer. It’s Sept 7th and I don’t have this phone. I am coming up on my 1 year blackberry anniversary and no matter what you ipeople might think we have never been happier.

But it is time to upgrade to the latest and greatest. With bold lookin so sexy, I just want to hold it my hands.

Here are the current known facts of this brutiful phone:

  • 1GB on-board memory with encryption.
  • Tri-band HSDPA.
  • Interchangable color back plates.
  • 5 hours of talk time, 13 days of standby time.

From home to work, Manning to National (which becomes Palms) to Venice and Lincoln, the entire area known as West Los Angeles is under attack. An attack of bull dozers, tractors, jack hammers, orange cones, cement and construction workers.

Has anyone else noticed this? Our city has been taken over and I don’t like it. Construction needs to happen without affecting me. And for the love of god, does it need tp happen all at once?!

Without any notice, a concrete island was built, preventing me from turning left from Manning onto National. This makes it impossible for me to go to the shopping center and market across the street. Well, not impossible, but now I have to make an illegal U-turn and shit. It makes it damn difficult to get to Robertson.

This is war. We are under attack. We must fight back. Let’s steal their machines. You must run over their cones when driving passed them. Do your part. Los Angeles needs you. We can’t be victim to this any longer. Who wants to help me blow up this no turning island?

  • Everyone and their mom are switching to mac. At least I still have 1 PC friend left.
  • Google has a fairly strange ToS for Google Chrome. They claim they have the right to redistribute anything you send or post using their browser. This is pretty draconian even if is just legal jargon meant to protect them. UPDATE:Google Chrome is being released under an open source license which will negate this blanked ToS that Google Apps uses. Besides, its Google. I would let Google babysit my proverbial child. Kelly, you are right. This is moo (like a cows opinion…it just doesn’t matter).
  • I bet your ATM PIN is on this web page. Phuking h4×0rs.
  • The Coffee Bean on Windward and Pacific aka the Venice Circle closed for good. Is this a sign of poor economic times or what? I hear the world famous Tattoo Asylum, 2 doors down, is for sale for 80k. They run that place so poorly no wonder its doing terribly in a booming industry. I would love to buy it, clean house, spend a year recruiting artists and marketing the hell out of that place. Tattoos and the beach…it markets itself.
  • It is my duty to watch the RNC, as horribly painful and torturous as it may be. It’s the lies and hypocrisy I can’t stand. It’s about “Family Values” yet they vote against financial support for pregnant teenagers. They fight against contraception and abortion, yet poor pregnant women girls kids receive no support. I don’t understand the goal. Create a nation of poor to work for the rich?
  • You can call me a member of the “democrat party” but remember I love guns, hate taxes and despise laws. I do support gun regulation, especially keeping automatic weapons out of the hands of felons…and violent felons. I should be allowed to have as many UZIs, AKs and MP5s my trunk can fit. Let’s setup a flat tax, its simple, over, done. The IRS and CPAs will have to find new work, but you keep your paycheck and don’t have to file anything. Run the government like a nonprofit strictly for social services and defense. It’s a no bid contract system anyway. Privatize the mail system. It can receive government subsidies but if it was private it would sweet. Monthly fee, no more stamps, delivery twice a day. Abolish all laws that don’t pertain to the social norms. No murder, rape or theft. No more DUI laws, but…if you get drunk and kill someone, we are killing you. There will be no more drunk driving. Simple. Concise. This is my utopia. And yes, drugs are legal, so you can have your utopia as well.
