Since pretty much since the beginning, Google has celebrated every holiday and important event (sometimes just important to them) with a play on their famous, multi-colored logo.

This year for Xmas, I’m not exactly sure what they were trying to say.

The most prevalent image has a sun, moon, space, stars and a spaceship and a peace sign. I guess those are all the elements of 12/25. Well I’m not exactly sure how the spaceship fits in. And then I remember the story of baby Jesus and his father Kal-El and his home planet of Krypton exploding and it all makes sense.

What it do, Google? As Kenan would say “what up with that?!”
