So while we are on the topic of just absolutely terrible marketing campaigns, McDonald’s just may be giving the Ralphs/Smirnoff/Ice debacle a run for it’s money. McD’s new psuedourban, psuedoebonics marketing attempt to reach generation MTV has failed miserably as the promotion asks you to phuk their burgers.

I’d hit it?!?! You would think that someone, some intern, even the janitor would have said "um, you know, I know American Pie was funny and America laughed, but telling people you would phuk the burger, isn’t the best idea!" Nope, they didn’t and some how this ad made it into real publications. I know that most of America doesn’t understand the difference between getting blunted off the homegrown and getting crunk from the coocoo, but come on people. Not one phuking person there said you know I think this may be interpreted as "I want to phuk the burger." Maybe McDs honestly wants you to phuk it. Maybe with the current pseudohealth-craze that is sweeping the coastal cities, McDonald’s still wants you to buy the burger and do something with it. If your not going to eat it, you better phuk it! Just buy the burger!!!
