Thanksgiving is here. w00t! I am thankful for a 2.5 day work week. In my old age I am starting to appreciate the holidays. I love Thanksgiving week. I love Christmas and I really love New Years (eve). I am looking forward to a week filled with work, basketball, blunts, turkey, pilgrims, football, drinking, driving, (there is a comma there) sleeping, winning parlays, watching tv, lovelock down, bay cities, talking about blackberries, making lists and posting them on the web, getting crunk, drunk and wil’n out straight og style.
Regular season NFL games may no longer end in a tie. American Football is the second most brutal professional sport, second to MMA. Boxing is nowhere near as brutal as Football. Each week, these men go to war, risking bones, cartlidge, and brain cells to win. After 75 minutes of bone crushing brutality, these pansies may not end in a tie. A winner must prevail. There is nothing gayer than a tie in professional sports. Do you want to be gay, NFL? You know how I know you’re gay? You have games that can end in a tie. You’re the GayFL. So that’s it. There are no more ties!
Professional athletes, especially quarterbacks must know the rules of the game. Donovan McNabb didn’t know that games could end in tie. Perhaps if McNabb knew the rules he wouldn’t have taken 75 minutes off and Philly wouldn’t be in a diminishing playoff picture situation.
To make up for the poor service, filthy environment and mediocore product, Starbucks must give me free coffee — every day.
After this week, all work weeks shall follow this schedule: Monday, Tuesday, a half day on Wed and a 4 day weekend.
The song Womanizer by Britney Spears is officially banned, forever. It is the most awful “music” I have ever heard. Now remember, I like Hatebeak. I am no stranger to harsh music. That song is such garbage it caused an entire Las Vegas club to boo. Boooooo you, womanizer…boooooooo. God of an empty nest….yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Katy Perry keeps going from bad to worse. This seems to be the consensus of the blog writers on the interwebs these days. She fooled us at first, but she’s way more clumsy than sexy. I know a lot of people will still defend her music, but after a couple of live performances you’ll see — she’s whack!

I’ve been pretty happy with TMobile, but a storm is brewing. It’s time to switch back to Verizon cause them bastards at TMobile decided they aren’t going to focus on the BlackBerry this year. They have the G1. It sucks. So now what?! I have been reading about the BlackBerry Storm at VerizonBlackBerry.Com and I am ready to switch.
I need to figure out how I can switch and not be charged the draconian can’t-leave-fee. Earlier this year I remember reading about a class-action lawsuit that Sprint lost for charging that fee. Even if I wind up paying it, it’s a seems like a small price to pay for the new Berry.
There is still a small chance the phone can suck like the G1. I doubt it will but there is always the possiblity typing can be as shitty as typing on the iPhone. I know my fellow iPhone fanboys friends will say “hey, my iPhone isn’t shitty to type on…” and you can continue believing that despite the facts.
If the Storm can live up the hype, it will be the new reveloutionary PDA. Google must abandon HTC as an equipment manufacture. They make shitty phones. It’s all about the Berry and right now Verizon has the kush of berries.
Any site that receives billions and billions of unique hits an hour is going to have performance issues. Having that much traffic is tough to manage. Lately this site has been loading slowly for me. Even with wp-cache and MySQL cache, its lagging. I am beginning to think this server has hit its peak. The server I have over at MediaTemple is “blazing” fast. Granted it’s currently receiving 10 times less traffic, but it is handling the current load perfectly. So I am going to move WDP over to that box and see what happens.
Once upon a time this took 48 - 72 hours and was a major headache. I can now move the site with 0 downtime and the entire process will take less than 30 minutes. I’m like a magician withouth a creepy blank stare and ridonkulously hot girlfriend.
