6:30am the alarm blared as I got up on Saturday and headed to Arcadia. Oak Tree Park at Santa Anita was the home of this years Breeders cup. From 9am till 4pm I watched and played in 10 races. To many that seems like a very long day, but to any racing fan, that’s nothing. You watch a race, make your picks for the next race, get some food & “drank” and head back to your seat to watch another race.  With low wagers and big payouts, it’s a great way to spend a day and unwind.

H to the izzo. V to the izz A. Hova was at UCLA last night and my sister, a UCLA student, was awesome enough to hook up the tickets last minute. I’ve seen N.E.R.D before and I can honestly say they have gotten worse. I like Pharrell and I really wish someone would tell him to just stop it. There is no need for him to be in a band that sounds like hatebeak rehearsing. Hova was as good as any live hip hop act gets. His stage was sick and his set list mirrored the Madison Square Garden concert on 9/11/09. A blond Rihanna took the stage during Run This Town and performed a new track off of her upcoming album.

In other weekend news the Giants lost their 4th straight but the Lakers won their 5th straight. 4 straight losses in the NFL is unacceptable…but that’s for another post. I’m too tired right now to go into. I need vacay just from this past weekend.
