I Hate Asher Roth

Blizzard RothHate is a pretty strong word. I fucking hate Asher Roth. Why in the world is Steve Rifkin committed to promoting a less than mediocre “college rapper?” I bet I could I walk into any college dorm and find 10 white, suburban jews with better skillz than Asher Roth. Hot Kizzle must be suicidal every time he hears this douche bag on the radio.

I watched this bumbaclot perform on Jimmy Fallon with the Roots as his backup band. Black Thought looked so bored. Asher Roth isn’t a musician. He isn’t a lyricists. He isn’t a poet. He isn’t hyphy. He’s a 22 year old douche bag that is unbelievably lucky. He is living the dream for absolutely no reason.

Now Asher is responding to beef with Spencer Pratt. Congrats, Asher. You made me side with Speidi. You aren’t just the worst “rapper” in the world, you are the worst person.

It Just Keeps Getting Worse

Eminem is back and worse than ever. After 2 horraciously “leaked” tracks,  here is the official single off of Relapse (May).

It’s hard to believe he has 2 full albums of this inaudible poop — Relapse 2 is due out this fall. I am trying to listen to this garbage via headphones at work and I can’t understand a word he is saying. What is with the gimmick voice and rudimentary pop beat? This is the shit Dre has been “producing?!”

Seriously, what is this crap?! This gets 0 blunts. This is some schwag out of soda can bullshit!

Making My Own Cobb Salad

I literally just finished making (and eating) a Cobb salad. I eat tons of Cobb salads but I’ve never made my own. The ingredients are pretty straight forward so there is no reason to not try and “save” that $13.95. It was ok…but nothing was “saved.”

I realized the hard way that unless I plan on making more than 1 Cobb, by tomorrow, I am going to spend waaaay more than $13.95. As anyone who has set foot inside a market knows, you can’t buy 1 chicken breast. You can’t buy 1 slice of Avocado. You can’t buy just a few bacon bits; or just enough lettuce, washed and chopped. You can’t buy one hard boiled egg and you can’t buy half a tomato — trust me, I tried!

So right now I am trying to figure how this was beneficial to me. I know a lot of you love to cook and making food is not a pain. I’m learning to like it…but when I break down the time and the cost, it just don’t be making sense. Check it:

  • chicken (3 pcs) $9.95

  • tomato $1.99
  • blue cheese $4.99
  • dressing $7.99
  • avocado $1
  • bacon bits $4.99
  • eggs $3.99

Even if I divide everything based on the portion used I am still well over $15.00. So financially I am better off buying a Cobb from Panini and time-wise…well I washed the vegetables, chopped (wish I had a slap chop) and cooked the chicken. The entire process took about 30 minutes. All in all it’s a phuking waste of time and money for me to make my own Cobb. Don’t get me wrong, I believe there are plenty of foods (pasta, grilled chicken, hamburgers) that are much more cost effective to make at home rather than buy from a restaurant…a Cobb salad sure as phuk ain’t one of them.
