Here’s the actual uncut video of the Shady 2.0 cypher from the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards.
No joke, this was the most fun awards show I have watched in a long time. They kept the show moving with great performances: Young Jeezy and TI, DMX, Lupe, Big Sean and Roscoe Dash and closed the show with old school legend, Heavy D. They worked in 8 minute freestyle cyphers featuring different “crews” from all over the country. Even Chris Brown took time out of smacking bitches to flow. And of course they saved the best for last.
Here’s Eminem and company proving that a white, 38 year-old is still the one of the goats.
And speaking of goats, LL Cool J was honored and he read one of the greatest acceptances speeches (raps) of all time. OK, enough hyperbole. I am getting sleepy. Watch the video…and the throne.
