It seems like they got the artist right, just not the album. Then again I find myself thinking about an album pre 2000. Outkast’s Speakkkerboxx may beat out Stankonia and Blueprint 2 (and possibly 3) are better than the first one. Bloc Party’s Silent Alarm (their only good album) is missing from the list. In Rainbows should be there as well. Where is Aha Shake Heartbreak? That’s Kings of Leon at their finest. Eminem’s Slim Shady LP is MIA.

They did get one thing correct….

Arcade Fire’s Funeral is for sure one of — if not — the best album of the decade!

Raekwon Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II Cover

The wait is over….actually…no it’s not. This album is sold out. I went to 2 different best buys and the hip hop record store on Robertson and it was completely sold out.

Can Rae beat Jay? Is hip hop back from the dead? Am I buying CDs again?

Yes.

Blueprint 3

I give this album 4.5 mics and 9 blunts of Super Sky OG

“I dont give a fidduck, abbibout the riddate
you used to move, what you used to do
And i dont give a fidduck abbibout the bitches
that you used to screw but your future do
And we dont really care what you used to say
unless that effects your future pay
Im on a practice field running two-a-days
so i dont drop the ball when its threw my way

I dont give a fidduck, abbibout the shit that
you probably did who you probably is
The only time i deal in past tense
is im past rims and im past tints
If you driving it, i drove it,
if you got it, cause i sold it
you copped it, i bought it back
we dont give a fidduck n*gga we off that”

This is the “banger” everyone is talking about? I must have seen 3000 tweets about this yesterday. This track? Besides the horrible dotcom watermark, it’s under-mixed and noisy.

Kanye kills it. I’m still unsure about the rest of it. This is officially the best song of the summer. Jay, Rihanna and Kanyeeze will be performing this on Leno’s opening night, this fall.
