It’s almost Preakness time. I have a pretty good history with the Preakness. In 2006, I won $1995.59 and the IRS hasn’t let me forget about it. Last year, I also had the winning trifecta, but it only paid $104.60. A friend of mine managed to have $10 on the winning trifecta for this past Derby.
He won $11,687.

As of right now, 13 (out of 14) horses are ready to run this Sat. Calvin Borel once again has a shot of at Triple Crown history. Can he pull it off? Will I win money? Will a drunk elephant run on the field while Manny Pacquio sings the national anthem in hebrew? We’ll find out together, this Saturday.
And yes, my money is on the elephant.

The jockey, Calvin Borel, won the Kentucky Oaks race the day before.
