Well this isn’t the new site. I promised myself I wouldn’t write another post until the site was complete. But right now the more I try to finish it, the further away it becomes. 2 days quickly turned into 2 weeks and before I know it, it will be 2 months.
There’s no need for the site to be gone that long. A design is a design. Blog posts are what it’s all about.
I spent most of today working on the design update. It’s almost ready. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years and 3 months since version 2.0 went live. It’s been a lot of fun and we’ve hit a lot of milestones. As we approach 2000 blog posts we certainly want to look our best. They say the average homepage lifespan is 6 months, it’s slightly different for blogs, but considering this is your most favorite site in the world, it’s time I give it some love and give it something new.
So I need about 2 more days and the new brutiful design will be ready to go live.

Worst blogging month since I started this blog. Lets fix that right now…
I’ve done this before. Usually right before I make major changes to this site, I remove the comments link from each post. Why?
Well first of all, comments produce spam. The Akismet plugin handles 99.8% of the spam so it’s never really a big issue. But it does tax the server. Thousands of spam bots are constantly trying to leave links, in Russian, for Viagra. Don’t they know I buy my Viagra from Uzbekistan?
Secondly, I don’t really care about most them (Bid D, DVG and Anslog excluded. I care very much). I don’t care what some guy with an AOL email address has to say. He was probably searching for tips on vajazzling his vajayjay and got very upset that I don’t offer any.

This site is still setup as my blog (for now). My rants. My opinion. My inarticulate, nonsensical, non-sequitur bullshit. I’m planning some big changes. Hopefully. I plan many things. Very few of them actually come to fruition. I guess my planning for changing my name to Leo and dating Bar has taken up most of planning time.

Last month I was 2 blog posts short of 50. This month is 1/3 over and I am 2 blog posts short of 3. Don’t worry, I’ve got plenty to talk about. I was in NYC for a week. I went to the Belmont Stakes. I represented the Lakeshow on the east coast! I’m deathly ill right now so it’s kind of difficult to post anything. Stay tuned…I’ll be back in full force shortly. I’m gonna go drink half a bottle of windex…I hear it cures everything.
